Karinya provides a unique interment and memorial area dedicated to children from still born to 12 years of age, and takes its name from an Aboriginal word meaning peaceful and happy home.
First established in September 2007, Karinya reflects pure beauty, landscaped into a superb and magical botanical garden with a dry creek bed lined with pebbles, boulders and a gazebo.
Hedges surround its boundary, along with established native trees and shrubs dotted around the riverbed.
